January 20, 2010-Last night the blue-hearted State of Massachusetts turned Brown. Local lawmaker, Republican Scott Brown soundly captured the win from Democrat Attorney General Martha Coakley by a margin of five percentage points. This congressional seat had been occupied by Democrat Ted Kennedy for forty-seven years until his recent death.

An informed and enraged public is a lethal force to contend with.
In the last week, Brown surfed brilliantly the surging wave of public discontent. A dismal economy, double digit unemployment, big business bailouts that are difficult to stomach, and healthcare reform policies that miss the mark, generated a swell of public disgust.

The tides have shifted with the 41st Republican Senator. Healthcare Reform as penned in the Senate and House Bills is underwater, deep underwater. We have a second chance to rethink the problems that got us here and rethink the solutions. This is our chance to send a siren of warning to lawmakers—its time to do it right.
